3D reconstruction of a simple object from two perspectives

The aim of this project is to obtain 3D reconstruction and coordinates of a really simple object present inside a enclosure . The two cameras are calibrated with the help of a [login to view URL] images are captured from two cameras of known position. The enclosure is to be separated from the background and noises are to be eliminated using appropriate filters. The boundary and other noises (scratches in the surface) present in the enclosure are to be [login to view URL] object is to be identified in two images. Using appropriate stereo matching and triangulation technique,the object is to be reconstructed in 3D and the coordinates are to determined in world system (x,y,z).
Preferred platform : [login to view URL], 2.OpenCV.
Source code can be either M Script file or a GUI.
