Hi, I am bidding in this project because I think I can do this problem, but before attempting the problem I have a question about it. The problem says that the region is formed by the line y = mx and the parabola y = x - x^2. Now to cut the region by half, we need another straight line that passes somewhere between these two graphs. But that makes this problem impossible to solve since the value of m in the boundary line of the region is not given. Another possibility is that the region is bound by the parabola and the x axis. In that case, the problem can be solved by finding out the value of m for which y=mx line cuts the region by half. So please let me know. Thanks.
