Instructions on the following link were followed to install open erp 8 or odoo 8 [login to view URL] Except for the port redirection all instructions were followed. I do not want my port redirected and want to run open erp from the default 8069 port as I have lot of other things running on port 80 as well as some other tomcat servers. I do not want that disturbed. I think its something minor but I get an internal 500 server error Internal Server Error "The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there is an error in the application." I was able to start the postgresql 9.3 server as well as odoo as a service
