Help me to configure Zabbix Agent

I have set up the Zabbix server and Agent in other Ubuntu server. Somehow I am not able to connect with the agent and server. I want someone with experience with Zabbix who can help me to connect server and agent. I will give selected freelancer fresh servers which will need to set up the client from scratch and guide me to configure the server. I will also need step by step guide to implement the same in the future if needed.
