Programmer/scripter to write a vbscript to inventarize multiple servers.

I require a vbscript that will be scripted in 3 parts/milestones PURPOSE A vbscript to query servers for wmi information, registry keys, run some commands line tools, with an output preferably to csv. I need this script so I can go to customers, and inventarize some settings, to give advice about problem areas, and wrong [login to view URL] script should be based on vbscript, and should run on minimum windows 2000, upto the current versions on [login to view URL] may be installed or left over on the servers. Scheduled tasks via windows or AT are ok, if they are removed again after the script is finished. DESIGN It needs a simpel popup box to ask for a single computer name or ip address, and to read from a file ([login to view URL]) The outputfilename may contain the time+date, e.g. [login to view URL], so an existing output is not overwritten. CODING It would be recommended if before querying the separate servers, the code can check if the server is online, if remote access is possible, and if basic wmi classes are available. The script will be used on citrix servers, which have often problems with wmi jet database corruption, resulting in classes or subclass of root\cimv2, root\citrix not being present anymore. It may then log that the WMI needs to be fixed on the server first. The script does not need to be optimized for speed. Where possible the script should continue if particular wmi counters are not existent. 3 MILESTONES ============ Regarding the milestone, I will split up the project in 3parts: Part 1: for the basic script with interface and output, to query several basic wmi info, some registry keys, and the status of services. (The exact details will be provided) Part 2: To enhance the script with the ablity for me to add some dummy components, so I can add registry keys, services or a wmi query myself by replacing some dummy text. Part 3: - Some more wmi/registry checks and some exes with command switches (e.g. ipconfig /displaydns) will be added which will give a specific output. Capturing the output might require some investigation from the programmer. Preferably you are from India, Bandgladesh, etc... Details will be given at the start of each milestone. BUDGET The budget is per hour, and a skilled scripter should be able to do this in max. 5 hours. If you need more time, please dont bid. WHO ARE YOU I dont have a company budget, so I am looking for freelancers who are happy with 10 USD/hour. You have made multiple vbscripts in the past and preferably used it within a company. You have ran scripts before that check things on windows computers before, and so experience with some difficulties that pop up when remotely quering servers. You know websites with ready-to-copy vbscript code so you copy/past parts of the script and make it easier for yourself. You can make sure you code [login to view URL] have clean feedback, and dont overpromise. Make sure you can keep your deadline. I am looking for someone who can do other smaller vbscripts later on (or add things to the existing script.)You can finish this in a week.
