I am working on my new website and in the process of coding it. I plan to go live in approximately one month.
At this moment, I have around 900 products in the database and I need someone who can review and edit EACH product WITH ATTENTION TO DETAILS.
- Review item description:
- If exit, check for extra formatting or references to other sites
- If does not exist, find the most complete description online and add it
- Assign correct manufacturer
- If manufacturer is not in the database, add a new one
- Verify picture
- Find and assign a new one if no picture or picture if bad
- Resize image to specifications
- Assign product to correct category
- If appropriate category is not in the database, add a new one
- Verify that the product has approriate title
- Remove specifics and delete product duplicates
- Make sure that the product has no duplicates
- Assign appropriate filters/sub-filters/sub-sub-filters for each product
- Research and insure accuracy!
- Double-check, Triple-check!
- Do not miss anything!
example:
Two products:
"Super-awesome Strawberry Juice - 30ML" AND "Super-awesome Strawberry Juice - 15ML"
Essentially both represent the same product with only one difference - which is the size in ML
One product needs to be deleted as duplicate, and another product needs a title change. Should be "Super-awesome Strawberry Juice"
Then, when only one product left, assign appropriate filters:
Size: Option1: 15ML, Option2: 30ML
Flavor: Option1: Strawberry
and so fourth.
I will be selling products in VAPING category, so you would have to educate yourself and learn everything about vaping. There are multiple sites about it.
To practice: locate product Model: "eVic ETC mini" and see if you can
- find a good description and create an easy to read HTML version of it ([login to view URL])
- find manufacturer name
- find a good image
- and (very-super-super important) identify ALL FEATURES for this product, since they need to be added one by one in filters (Device Class?(digital, mechanical, regulated), Device Type? (MOD, ecig, ego), Resistance range?, Output wattage range?, Removable or Build-in battery? Etc.)
At this moment, this is just a beginning (I am hoping).
If we will be able to work together, there is an opportunity to continue working when the site is operational. I would need a person to periodically work on the content (and I am actually looking forward that kind of arrangement)
Work from home at your own pace and I would need this to be done by December 13st.
I will provide training, it is not complicated job. Just be patient and pay attention to details.
