Exercise in timing attack

I got some exercise in network security course.

In the exercise in need to build a tiny HTML page containing JS.

The goal is to find some timing vulnerability in browser (only one) and to expose information about user history.

There is a ilst of website (around 10) that I need to tell whether they are in the user history or not.

I found that white paper that gives some examples of solution but I didn't managed to implement them (I'm new to JS so it's not surprising..).
