Tourism conference logo

The Business Centre Pilbara is running its second, Destination Pilbara, Warlu Way, Tourism Conference. We are located in the north-west of Western Australia and are activating and growing new and existing tourism small businesses. The conference will include government bodies, tour operators and invite regional attendees including a focus on indigenous business owners or intenders. To market and promote the event we are looking for a logo to include on our social media and materials. The brief for the logo is: - Swirl/swish background like the shape of the regions coast of WA. Using the shape of the 'bend' of WA which is only coastline, but the colours to tie in the coast to the land. Will also look a little serpent-like (see references to Warlu below). - Reaching left to right transitioning from aqua blue/turquoise of Indian Ocean and Dampier Archipelago to yellow to red of the earth. - Typography of Destination Pilbara across the centre, probably black, and Warlu Way as secondary, perhaps using transparent outline (as a suggestion) - An effect of yellow rays of the sun beaming from the centre outwards, also depicting the tourism that reaches out to the rest of the world, shining a light to come and see the Pilbara. - Circle where the sun rays will come from as in Business Centre Pilbara and the sun. We are looking for creative talent to an effective logo which can be read/recognised small, and scaled for posters. Please see the attached files for reference to the area and program.
