Monster Sprite Artist Needed for an Indie Game (RPG)!

Hello,

I am the project manager of an upcoming RPG video game, coming out on the iOS and Android in late 2016 or early 2017. This is a commercial project and the game will be sold to others. We need exclusive rights to the artwork you produce for us; meaning we own it completely (you will still be in our credits as our Sprite Artist).

This project is being made with RPG Maker VM and the sprites will need to be side-view (think of Final Fantasy 6's battle system and sprites).

We want you to replicate the art style that you see on the left-side of the screen.

We currently are looking for a talented and dedicated sprite artist who can produce EXACTLY 250 unique monster/battle sprites for us. These sprites will be used as in-game enemies and bosses. We anticipate at least 25-50 of those sprites to be boss-sized sprites (more detailed and larger).

Because this project will take roughly 1 - 1.5 years to complete, we need someone dedicated enough to work with me every single week. Each week, I will give you new sprite ideas for you to work from. Each week you will be expected to create 2-5 sprites (with 2-3/week being the average). You will work at this pace because we need time to polish and refine our story. We can't just have 250 random enemies; we need 250 enemies that match our overall storyline. Therefore, we need an artist who will be able to develop a rapport with myself (the project manager) and make a few sprites each week when they are requested. You will have a lot of freedom to give me your own ideas.

This will continue until we hit the agreed-upon 250 sprites in total. At which point, you will have been completely reimbursed for your quote and the project agreement will be fulfilled. More work may or may not be wanted/needed at that point.

REIMBURSEMENT: You will be paid on a sprite-by-sprite basis.

Take whatever you quote and divide it by 250. That's how much you will get paid each time you complete a sprite. I will distribute payments every single week for the sprites you completed that particular week.

We will continue with this model of payment and product delivery until the 250 sprites are completed.

IE: If you bid $500 (our min budget), you'd be making $2/sprite. If you bid $2,500, you'd be making $10/sprite (our max budget).
