I need a logo designed.
Hello.
I am starting a Physiotherapy business which specializes in providing physiotherapy services to surfers. The business is in the very early stages. We need a logo to represent the business at the surfing competitions that we cover on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. The logo will need to go on a Marquee and tear drop or feather flags and eventually on a van which will be used to promote the business and cart equipment to events. There are three main components to the business. In practice provision of physiotherapy services specializing in surfing, surf contest coverage and surf specific strength and conditioning training. Our market is mostly 30-60 year old recreational surfers 70% male and 30% female, with some younger patients who are surfing at a high level and competing in competitions at a club, state and national level. These surfers are aged 12-18 years however comprise only 5% of the total client base.
About the logo: I am originally from Byron Bay and would like the logo to be mobile and easily transferable from one location in Australia to the next. We would like the colours in the logo to be white, blue and Orange. The shades of these colours is negotiable. Components that we would like to be represented in the logo include a wave which perhaps could be comprised of hands (to represent the physio aspect), the sea and perhaps sand. As I am from Byron Bay I was thinking of incorporating the famous headland and lighthouse with a wave or lines of swell rolling in to the bay and the tops of the S's in the Business name "Surf and Sea Physiotherapy" being incorporated to represent a barrel in a line up.
The Business Name Surf and Sea Physiotherapy also needs to be incorporated into the logo..As the logo needs to appeal to surfers I think it needs to be quite modern and edge eg somehow perhaps capturing the appeal or enabling the logo to be familiar to Hurley, Rip Curl logos etc..I am also open to suggestion's as I am by no means an expert.
