Design a (4-page) lay-out for a mini-webshop

Assignment description Our large webshop is selling hundreds of different products. We are looking for a graphics designer to design a framework for our focussed webshops. With a framework I mean; create a lay-out design for 1 perfect focussed mini-webshop. Each mini-webshop will have 1 to 5 categories. Each category contains 10 – 25 products. All products have low prices. Price is a unique selling point of the shop. Please design the webshop-layout in English. Use the frequently used Dutch payment-logo’s (see attachment) in the design such that it represents a trustworthy Dutch webshop. Our company-logo will be given to you after you have accepted the job and have acknowledged to keep the details of this project confidential. Layers to design 1. Overall-layout: welcome page with products or commercial entry page 2. Information page (see example text in attachment) 3. Category page i.e. Microsoft Surface products or Microsoft Xbox products 4. Product page i.e. All Xbox models or all Surface products. The webshops we want you to develop are focusses on a single brand of products. Besides selling the product, the shop also should have multiple information pages about the brand itself. Example content can be found in the attachment of this assignment. Each category page should be designed such that it represents the category of products shown on the page. For example; if we have a category for Xbox products, the page should display an Xbox image and some informational text. Please use your creativity to make it nice and friendly commercial such that customers are persuaded to buy. Please note; all information given is by example. We need to be able to replace the logo’s and texts by ourself when we launch the website on the Internet. We need to be able (by ourself) to change the images. For example, the Microsoft image should be changed to an Dell logo and the Microsoft Xbox should be changed to Dell XPS laptops. Deliverables 1. Webshop-design (4 layers) 2. Original design templates in Photoshop, InDesign or another graphical program of your choice. 3. Original files which we can edit ourselves to change logo’s and texts. 4. Fonts and colours used. Optional deliverable (please offer this as a separate price) 1. Process the design to HTML and CSS in a way that we can use it to publish online.
