Design a Logo

I need a logo creating for my brand CJW Multimedia. I'm not entirely sure what i'm looking for, so expecting a little bit of a creative input from yourselves. Some things I am clear on: - The logo needs simple, but with creative elements. Flat colours mostly, with subtle gradients if needed. - Colours themselves I am open to suggestion. My website currently has a black/white theme but I would like to inject a colour theme in it, so this logo well help set the tone. - The focus of my brand is Multimedia Development - 3D, Audio, Video, etc. More specifically, I focus on 3D design so try and incorporate that if possible (but I do not want the logo itself to be 3D!). If you can incorporate the 'multimedia' element into my logo somehow, that is ideally what I am looking for. My brand title is quite boring on the surface, so I need the creative element to 'liven' it up. Although I am not a graphic designer, I do know a lot about this sort of stuff, and know the quality I expect. The final deliverable needs to be a clean, vector format (preferably AI). I would also like you to be flexible with revisions. Nothing drastic, but just flexible enough that I don't have to accept the first draft. I don't have a huge budget for this, but I do expect quality. In return, I offer the potential of future work (likely at a more reasonable budget) and since our fields are related, I can also offer multimedia work at a discounted price in return.
