E-Commerce Developer / Social Marketing Expert

We are looking for an Sr. Ecommerce Developer to join a newly formed team that will work on enhancements and development projects. You will lead a small team newly formed to build and maintain the eCommerce platform alongside the social media marketing team. Responsibilities And Duties • Contribute to the analysis of business requirements and lead the design the recommended solution • Solutions design integrating with API and all third party software • Detailed debugging, thorough testing and documentation of results • Create and maintain documentation for developed applications and procedures for both new and existing programs • Document all issues and/or change requests made by users and submit for approval before any programming is done Required Skills Qualifications and Skills • Minimum 5 – 7 years experience as a Sr. Web Developer including eCommerce platforms • Industry Experience with Ruby on Rails or PHP,, SQL databases, JavaScript, • Solid knowledge on integration technologies: XML, JSON • Comfortable working in an Agile methodology with SCRUM teams • Experience Revision Control Systems (GIT, Bitbucket) • Experience with JIRA • Solid experience of building and integrating through Web API’s • Independent, strong analytical and problem solving skills • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, multiple project environment with strict deadlines Desired Skills • Knowledge of any framework such as ViewJS, ReactJS, AngularJS is desirable • Experience in developing e-commerce solutions (Shopify, Magento, hybris etc) • Experience with Shopify App development (e.g. Findify) • Experience with Shopify catalogue management, tagging, metafield management • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems Non-Technical Requirements • Must be a self-motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high quality work • Maintains excellent communication of project updates • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Well organized and professional
