Developed the application titled ProxyFirewall in C/C++. Said
application is a firewall that intercepts outgoing socket connections
and allows the user to set rules for each client side internet
application that attempts to make an outgoing connection; giving the
user the ability to reroute the connections through a SOCKS5,
SOCKS4, or HTTPS proxy server, or Block/Allow all connections.
ProxyFirewall also contained built in features for maintaining a large
lists of proxy servers from within the program with the ability to sort,
shuffle, export lists, etc., while utilizing a built in proxy checking
system to filter out bad proxy servers, storing the bad proxies in a
repository to be checked later.
Handled tech support and maintenance for the ProxyFirewall
application.
Worked on an email client application using C/C++/MFC with
features such as: a data retention system, dynamic virtual email
folders, send/receive text and/or html format emails, fully featured
text editor, send/receive file attachments, move email items and
folders via drag & drop, contact lists, multithreaded send/receive
with progress bar, and the ability to abort.
