Ghostwriters Needed for Romance Book Chapters

JOB DESCRIPTION Ghostwriters needed to each write a book chapter of 5,000 words minimum. Please bid on one 5,000 word chapter. You will be writing a book chapter for a fun, quirky paranormal romance about witches. There is no sexy time. This is not erotica. You will be given a comprehensive chapter outline. Your focus will be on the action, dialogue, and some settings, unless otherwise directed in the notes for your chapter. You are NOT responsible for character descriptions (red hair, amber eyes, etc.) and other continuity aspects. More information will be provided upon acceptance of the job. JOB REQUIREMENTS Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation is expected. High quality is expected. The chapter must be submitted in .doc or .docx format. No other format will be accepted. This is a time-sensitive project. Expected turnaround time for each 5,000 word chapter is 5 - 7 days. If you do not turn your chapter in within 7 days of accepting the job, you will not be paid. Please only apply if you can turn in a 5,000 word chapter in 7 days. The chapter needs to be 100% original. Your work will be checked. There is no tolerance for plagiarism. If your writing does not pass the plagiarism check, you will not be paid. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Only native or fluent English speakers need apply. Please don’t waste your bid if you are not a native or fluent English speaker. Veteran and new freelancers are all invited to apply. You MUST include a writing sample in your bid. If you do not have a writing sample to provide, please write and submit 150 words about: A woman running through the woods. (If you elect to write the 150 words, you will NOT be paid for this sample, but you will retain the rights to the sample, meaning you can use the sample elsewhere.) TERMS AND CONDITIONS You must be 18-years-old or older. You will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a ghostwriting contract. By applying and accepting this job, you understand and agree that this is a WORK FOR HIRE and ghostwriting position. This means once you have submitted your work and been paid for it, you will not retain any right to the finished products. We reserve the right to use the material in any form, whether electronic or print, and will own all rights for publication, including but not limited to, the copyright, byline right (someone else's name will be used as author name), resale, ownership, editing, revision and distribution right. You will have no rights to distribute or republish the material in any form whatsoever, and can not use it as writing samples in your portfolio. OTHER There will be other work available in the near future. If we like your work, you will be invited back to write more chapters for us when new projects are posted.
