Gegraphy Game - Make an easy application /game for teachers to teach kids geography

Hello, I am seeking to create a simple application that effectively teaches kids (grades 4&up) geography and geographic data. The application primary user will be kids, but the nature of the game will be controlled by the teacher. I would like this simple, intuitive and playful. Basic Experience Described in in bullets: -Teacher identifies 10 locations ( can change, just for simplicity) by clicking on the map - then Teacher has the opportunity to give student a hint for each location ( i.e. Capital of Iowa, nations that don't allow females to vote, Country where Ebola first broke out, state with the largest population in America ...) - Student has a mode of transport ( most likely airplane) and has control - has to get to location as quick as possible and stop plane at correct region(starting point is the same maybe at the north pole) - Student data is recorded, relevant metrics can be pulled ( which questions took them the longest, how did they compare to their peers, and other GRADING ANALYTICS, how far off were they, -- they must stop at the location to end their attempt ( reasonable variance from exact GPS locations is understood and to be iterated off user feedback) - Experience is gamified, so students are motivated to improve times ( competition among classes, options to modify their mode of transportation) --- I want this to start as a web application and later turn into a mobile option as well and to have a teacher/parent dashboard for student metrics/grading (keep this in mind while choosing stack). I want this to be simple ( think slightly more complex than angry birds) and to have credibility and academic community -- let's use a real mapping API ( like google or mapbox ) to familiize students with real mapping applications ( like lyf/uber does ect) -Just want a code code base for a MVP , and the ability to iterate, scale and pivot freely , dont want design to be restricting growth
