English editing of manuscript

Since we are publishers of scientific, technical and medical books, we are looking for an English dust-up in most cases. We define this as first of all do no harm to the patient - in this case the intent of the text. Since the majority of manuscripts are written by scientists for whom English is not their first language, the expected problems of proper usage of 'the' 'an' and 'it' versus 'it's' occur most often. There are also, however, cases where the subject and verb do not agree and other problems.
The ideal candidates will have strong reading and writing skills, exceptional command of the English language, and a sharp awareness of detail. English must be your native language. Previous experience is required. Compensation is paid on a per-manuscript basis.
The editing is to be done on screen in MS WORD 2007 or higher. Please use track changes so we can monitor the changes you are making.
