Gov Open Data Browser application development

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with a heavy focus on Backend data design and integration. This project will involve building API integrations with specific web-based resources, consolidating the data and building the appropriate relationships as needed. A front-end application will then be developed to intuitively filter and query the data, create reports, and visualize the results. We will be using Microsoft Azure as the platform, however we are open to using AWS if we are presented with convincing reasoning for AWS over Azure. The developer we are looking for must have excellent communication ability in English, and be able to contribute ideas to the project instead of just doing assigned tasks. We have specific preliminary requirements, but the developer we select should also be able to contribute to the requirements by helping with the features, functionality, and overall vision for the project. We will go through an evaluation process to select the most qualified candidates that meet our exact needs and will work well with our team.
