Changes in flashden template

I have a customised flashden template which needs some adjustments. The adjustments are:
1st - The existing news module must be changed in layout and a light box which is already present in the template must be added so it can display publications for an architecture website. All the text must be loaded form xml as in the rest of the template.
2nd - again the existing news module must be changed in layout and a light box added. This time it's for the news itself.
3rd - again the existing news module must be changed in layout and a light box added. This time it's for the awards page.
4th - The light box is working like a charm but some people do not know it is there so I would like to see the cursor change in to "click to enlarge" when they roll over the pictures so people know they can click on them.
