Hi, i have extensive experience with various CDNs (Cloudfront, Cloudflare, MaxCDN, KeyCDN) and even developed & deployed a custom CDN for one client. I know the inherent problems of CDNs like slow origin pulls, duplicated content in SEO, latency issues because of cold standby connections to the edge nodes, https mixed content errors, cost issues with Cloudfront etc. I have also developed techniques like instant push of content to the edge nodes which can be used with non-anycast CDNs like cloudfront.
