Delphi - Generating unique random numbers

Hello, I have a small project which should be easy for you experts.

Basically In another project I have, I am adding Tree nodes at runtime with data, and I need to add to each new added node a unique random number - so that each node can never have same ID and I can distinguish between them.

All I need is a simple demo project with source, that has two listboxes and a generate button.

When the generate button is pressed, it should add some random numbers to the first listbox. Once the numbers have been added to the left listbox, add the numbers to the right listbox - if however the right listbox already contains items that are in the left listbox, they should NOT be added.

the random generated numbers should be at least 5 bytes in length.

I have created a template project with all the controls in place etc, all that is needed is the code.

I tried using TStringList and setting duplicates to dupIgnore and also dupError, but could never get it working.
