Cross-border ecommerce development (Magento)

We are looking for a Senior PHP developer to lead the development of the new cross-border ecommerce site of our online store. Main tasks will be: -Implement from the scratch the new multi-country/multi-language/multi-currency responsive ecommerce with more than 30k products (magento 2) -Implement from the scratch the new blog (wordpress) -In both cases designs will be provided, so the template will need to be created from the scratch (this means, no already existing template customization). The idea is to optimize the performance of the site employing the minimim amount of assets. -Perform the migration from magento 1.9 to magento 2.x (customer, orders, products and loyality points will need to be migrated to the new platform) -Manage AWS instances aiming to improve performance metrics. Employ tools like Redis, Varnish, etc. to speed up the site. -Make the site auto-balanced, so new instances will be launched automatically in peak traffic moments. -Set up periodic scripts for maintenance of the site. -Integrate third-party plugins into our site -Develop custom plugins -Coordinate with designer to obtain assets Main features of the ecommerce will be: - Multiple countries (with custom prices and tax configuration) and languages - Responsive design - Layered navigation with custom filters - Loyalty points - 4 Payment methods: paypal, spreedly (credit card tokenizer), bank transfer and cash on delivery. - Multiple shipping options per country - External search engine (like Solr) with autocomplete features - Custom email template for transactional emails - Ajax (custom made) - Discounts per volume - HTTPs - One step checkout (custom made) - Logistic tracking of the order from customer's dashboard - SEO-friendly page - Install patches to fix vulnerabilites - Install tools to prevent/block competitor's price scrappers - Free shipment for first time users - Pop-ups - Email for abandoned carts No need to fill product descriptions and images, this information will be provided by us.
