Our company fixes smartphones. We have a website using Shopify. We need customers to be able to book their own repairs and need a wizard built as follows:
Step 1: Select your device
Step 2 : Select your device model (choices depend on what is selected in Step 1)
Step 3: Select device colour (choices depend on what is selected in Step 1 and 2)
Step 4 : Select the issue with the phone
Step 5 : Enter location (using google to restrict/validate location details)
Step 6 : Collect contact details
Step 7 : After clicking to submit the form, redirect to a "thank you - we will be in touch with you shortly” page.
User’s selections should be summarised in a header/progress bar section at the top of the page and a progress bar should show the user how far they are through the process.
Upon completion of all steps, an e-mail should be sent summarising the user’s selections/data input.
The implementation should allow us to easily make our own changes to the options available at each step if needed. For example, as new models of phones are released, we should be able to edit the code ourselves so that the new model appears in the list of devices that can be selected in Step 2.
