Automobile Broker

Need a websight designed to provide a weekly list of automobiles up for sale. The inventory list is changed weekly, there are upwards of 3000 different vehicles sold each week. As a retail auto dealership, we would like to offer to a prospective auto buyer the chance to negotiate a deal regarding a vehicle which is in the upcoming "dealer only auction". In essence, I find a "lucky" customer before purchasing at auction, thereby cutting (advertising) costs significantly and not having to have overhead tied up, which in turn gives the customer a better price on the vehicle. I say lucky because I will have a very stringent filter setup whereby the prospect must prove financial capabilities by providing loan officer contact info or bank references. A 10% deposit of (value of vehicle) will be put down by prospect which is returned by me if I do not purchase the vehicle for whatever reason. The theme would be for them to save drastically in price according to Kelley Blue Book Value (KBB), which bases the value of a vehicle in three categories...ie...trade-in value, private party value and retail value. Whereas they normally would pay private party value, or retail....with this process, they could potentially pay very near trade-in value for a vehicle. The first page would be a squeeze/page for list building and will pre-sell the idea of drastic savings with flash and an "auction based" savings theme, but not too overly hyped. Once opted in, prospect would be lead to an inventory listing that needs to have search capabilities (year, make, model) or the option to just "view all". This is where the emphasis of the screening process is highlighted. They must understand that we do not deal with tire kickers and want only serious buyers that are ready to buy NOW. They must understand that out of potentially hundereds of inquiries only a handful will be selected to buy through this process based on how well they prove financial capabilities. The text description will show basics (ie: 2006 Mercedes Benz 750iL Black/Tan...50k miles....vin: waxuxetc...Moonroof, Navigation, Sport Package, Books and Nav disk Included). Either a one column or two column text format is fine as long as I can give a good description on one line. Once prospect is interested in a vehicle, I need a mechanism on the page whereby they click to "request application" or more information on the vehicle.....which leads them to a SIMPLE survey whereby I can judge if they qualify. I would then qualify a prospect and send them photographs of of the vehicle in question. Then prospect is given opportunity to physically view vehicle AT AUCTION sight for a set minimal non-refundable fee ($150)dollars. Important note: This is a VERY SMALL SCALE operation (2 man show) from the start, so the prospect will need to show proof of financial capabilities to follow through with transaction. I obviously can only show a handful of vehicles to people at the auctions per week. So, Im thinking maybe a handful of transactions will occur PER WEEK, until I gauge whether the process of buying in this manner is actually practical. Therefore, I cannot afford to spend thousands on a websight until I know the process of selling in this manner will work and is practical for me personally. Once it proves to be a good system with no problems, I will hire more sales staff and may even turn this websight into a "proxy auction" bidding process which was my first idea.
