you previous did this already in project Project ID: 88709 Project Description: Please see the attached spreadsheet. It will help as you read the description below. You need a current version of Excel to view the file. This is a trading decision spreadsheet. Based on inputs (open, high, low, close, range) the spreadsheet should place a green "B" for buy or a red "S" for sell in the appropriate "Decision Strategy" box. A comparison is made between the latest date (today) and the day preceding it (yesterday). If you look at the spreadsheet, the green "B" or red "S" would be placed in the 9/12/2006 row (today). The decision strategies are outlined as follows: #1. Bounce Pattern: Buy signal: If today has a higher high, a higher low, and a lower close than yesterday, BUY. Sell signal: If today has a lower high, a lower low, and a higher close than yesterday SELL. #2 Escalator Pattern: Buy signal: If today closed below yesterday's low, BUY Sell signal: If today closed above yesterday's high, SELL #3 Opening Pattern: Buy signal: If today opens below yesterday's low, BUY. Sell signal: If today opens above yesterday's high, SELL. #4 Wider Range Pattern Buy signal: If today is an outside day (higher high and lower low) and closed below yesterday's close, BUY Sell signal: If an outside day (higher high and lower low) and closed above yesterday's close, SELL #5 Modified Escalator Pattern Buy signal: If today has a higher high, a higher low, and a higher close than yesterday, and today's close is lower than today's open or in the lower third of today's range, BUY Sell signal: If today has a lower high, a lower low, and a lower close than yesterday, and today's close is higher than today's open or in the upper third of today's range, SELL Ideally, I should be able to add another date and all the data that goes along with it and do the calculation again.
