Reading from a binary file and processing its data : I have a .dta file wich has a table for a table tennis championship . The table has 5 attributs (e.g team name , played games .. ) . The team names and all the other stuff and records are inside the binary file . The job is to design an application program that reads the data from this file into a table, prints it on the screen, sorts it within the table, then prints it again on the screen, and saves the sorted table in a text file. The further details we can speak about them after the agreement . The neccesary files will be uploaded and in the third picture is an exemple of the Hexadecimal representation of the fifth record of the .dta file (it's marked with pink) : Der TSV Hoechst II (teamName) with 18 matches (matchesPlayed), 91:48 sets (gamesWon : gamesLost) and 28:8 points (pointsWon : pointsLost) please begin your application with "cplusplus" . cplusplus Hello. My understanding of the task is: The program reads the data file (whose encoding I'm assuming you have the specification of) then it prints the records to the screen. Then the program sorts the data, presumably according to one of the fields, then prints the new sorted list to the screen. Is that it? Because if so then I can do it in 1 - 3 hours starting immediately.

Hello, Firstly we need to design the format of the binary file from where i need to populate the table. Actually i think we should create a list of structures where we store all information.
