Code review of iPhone application (Objective-C) and produce quality report. We have existing iPhone application close to be finished by an outside vendor and want to have code professionally reviewed and a code quality report written. Report has to include : Any issues identified and categorized to different severity and implications they might cause Good/bad practices followed and their implications Scalability and reusability of the app evaluated and pain points identified. The extent to which Apple iOS development practices are followed Testing coverage and how testable the code is (Is it Unit testable ?) Quality of decoupling UI from code. Backwards-compatibility of the code in terms of devices / libraries used Any build mechanisms (or lack of) for different environments (test, debug, release) Code commenting, naming conventions, sensible variable / method naming evaluated Are data structures used are appropriate for the task Any performance issues identified (any code, libraries or data structures used hurting the performance) Evaluation of application size (is it appropriate for the application, are all images used of appropriate resolution / quality) Compatibility between different devices / screen sizes evaluated How likely the application is to pass Apple approvals (checked against any Apple development practice checklists) Anything else which the reviewer deems worth mentioning or providing opinion Candidate should have extensive experience developing iOS Applications, Objective-C and Software Engineering. Ideally the candidate should have experience in writing code reviews / quality reports and provide an example.
