The idea of this project is to track how prices for items on Craigslist change over time. For the initial version of the application, we are going to restrict our search to televisions only. If I log on to the website, I can see a chart for how television prices have changed in the past two months. [Note: there will be only ONE user-facing page. See attached screenshot, [login to view URL]] You are welcome to use PHP, python, or Ruby for this project. The database should be MySQL or MongoDB. The data model will primarily consist in table, "televisions", with the following fields: posting_date posting_url [uniq] posting_title price ad_contents city metro_area screen_size I have attached the milestones as an attachment. For completion of this project, please have this up and running on a development webserver I can access, to test its functionality as described.
