Create a vmware ubuntu image, install dvd-slideshow sw

Hi all, I am running a slide scan service for my customers. Usualy we scan 200 - 1000 slides and store them as jpeg on DVDs. Sometimes we also make a movie dvd from the pictures. This task can be done with [login to view URL] as I am not a Linux-Geek, I am looking here for someone who can set up a current Ubuntu Linux image for vmware and install the software above. Furthermore a tiny script should be scripted: The script will be started with an order id (int betw. 1 and 100000). The script connects to a specific directory on my windows 2008 server (samba or whatever) and looks for the folder with the name equals to the order id. The folder will be copied to the ubuntu. The just copied folder contains subfolders (e.g. Holiday 1998 in Switzerland, 30st Birthday) and the pictures are in these subfolders. By running... [login to view URL] ...and using the subfoldernames above it should be possible to make dvd-menu. Now the slideshow dvd should be created with the menu-above. Each subfolder should become an own category on the dvd (the name of the category taken from the name of the subfolder) Finally the script should start a burning engine on the ubuntu and burn the slideshow as movie dvd (if possible also with the original jpeg pictures). Resumed: it should be possible to create a movie dvd by just entering one number (order id). The movie dvd has a menu which will show categories
