We currently have a subscription to Morningstar's Principia Pro product. This is a CD that arrives each month with updated mutual fund statistics that we use download the updated info into our computers. I was told by Morningstar that they use Sequel as their DB Engine.
Job: 12 years ago I had a nice spreadsheet that would interface with this information. All I had to do was put in the fund symbols and it would fill in the rest of the custom fields. Approximately 15 fields(1 yr, 3 yr, 10 yr, %rank vs peers, morningstar category, etc. etc.)
I have samples of how we would like it to look, if anyone thinks they can create the link.
I need to have this spreadsheet recreated with the appropriate link to the morningstar info in our computers.
Obviously, I have contacted morningstar to see if this is something they have and they have nothing of the sort. It must have been something specifically created for another advisor back when I used it.
