I have a btreive db that i use. i use Crystal Reports extensively connecting thru the ODBC. in a nutshell, i want to create a SP that basically returns a BOM Listing all sub-assemblies and components. i'll attach a screenshot from the Application that actually produces what i want to duplicate. i want the SP so that i can pull the recordset up in Crystal Reports. the Database table that the BOM resides in is very simple and it's only 1 table and the Item Master in 1 table. (needed for item description) I can send you a sample Tables to utilize. Basically the SP should allow a single input parameter of the Item Code, and then it returns the Level, Component, Description, and Quantity Required down thru all levels of the BOM. i can modify it later for other information i may want. i've tried recursive calls, but can't quite get it. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
