Convert existing Python scripts using 'urllib' to use 'requests' library

As the title suggests, there is two simple scripts (approx. ~120 lines of code) that need to be converted to use the requests lib and cleaned up a little. All they do is multiform HTTP GET/POST to a site. If you are good with PHP, Twig, Bootstrap etc. that would be a plus for possible follow-up projects, but not a requirement for this isolated project.
