Hi there, I can design a buck-boost converter schematic and layout designed with the following requirements. Voltage Input Minimum: 24Vdc Voltage Input Maximum: 170Vdc Voltage Output Minimum: 21Vdc Voltage Output Maximum: 170Vdc I will design in modules such that : - Each module needs to only handle 2~4 amps. - If more amperage is needed more modules need to be able to parallel together to accommodate the amperage requirements. - There needs to be a way to sync the set output voltage between parallel modules. - IF microcontroller is going to be used on each module THEN communication bus needs to be made so all modules can communicate with each other or main controller. Hi! I have fairly good experience with power electronics and embedded systems and have designed several devices that make full fledged use of digital and analog electronics. I also have hands on experience with system on chips (SoC) that can cut down the project development time by many folds and also ensure the best in class signal integrity and low BOM. I have good knowledge of CAD, CFD and CAM and have designed several thermal systems for electronics cooling. In HF power converter design, heat generation has always been the biggest limiting factor. Early design of thermal system can greatly reduce the total development time and also ensure high mechanical and electrical integrity. Since your converter has a power capacity over over 500 watts, it will inevitably need a good cooling system. I have successfully designed and tested various power electronics converters including both online (double conversion) and offline HF power inverters, MPPT etc. A few examples are: 1. 850 Watts, 70A offline inverter which measures only approx 6 inches a side. (Efficiency >95%) 2. 1.2KVA online inverter with inbuilt 1000W AC charger and 1000W solar MPPT for 48V lithium batteries used in applications such as mobile towers, etc. In both the above converters, a single System on Chip (SoC) has been used to provide state of the art switching techniques.
