I have themes from [url removed, login to view] and a module from wpmudev that I want to work easily together. I have posted on both support forums and the best response is
"The problem that I see here is that Themify themes use a custom post type called "portfolio" for these.
You could accomplish what you want, but that would require you to completely hack and alter the themes you're using so that these template files instead of querying the "portfolio" post type they will be querying the "product" post type.
If there are custom template files in your theme that take care of displaying the portfolio archives then it should be fairly simply to change them and hack them to use the product post type using a child theme."
I am not sure how to do this but I can provide both the theme and the plug in so you can see exactly how to modify it.
