01/13/2007 update
Based on some suggestions & ideas that I have been getting here are some additional details / sepcs for this project
Group1 - takes calls & logs call in system - some issues are resolved by them when they take the call - others would be left open that they cannot resolve. Ideal would be 1/2 page of data entry to add new issue & other half with list of issues there which can be filtered to open / resolved etc otehr filters.
Group2 - simply submit issues for help. Can look up own list of issues & whether its resolved or not & any comments posted on it. additionalyl they can see who is working on it or if its assigned - same ideal format if possible where 1 half page is for data entry while other half
Group3 - same as group2
Group4 - Same as group2 plus they can edit issues to assign the task or change status or add notes to current task. They can also close task.
Group5 - Mgmt group has rights to review all issues open & close & filter thru accordingly. They can generate reports fo rnumbers issues received from each group. also do other reporting functions.
Hope this helps - if there are any questions or suggestions please let me know.
