Band Web Site Design

I am designing a website for a local singer. He considers himself a lounge singer. His music repetoire ranges from country to rock to oldies. He is looking for a content management system based website with a custom template look. This project involves designing templates for the client to choose. Once a template has been chosen it must be incoporated into a CMS(Drupal 5.0 is the current choice). Consultation is needed on the best choice for the CMS. A web logo needs to be designed along with a flash version of the logo. My customer wants a custom flash music player thats playlist can be edited from within the CMS. He wants the flash player to look like a CD case and open up like a CD case and display the song list. A custom form is needed(it must be coded within the CMS) to allow people to book him. The site should be about 10 pages(I will do copyrighting, I just need the look of the website) Custom header and logo Integration with an independent music merchandise shop to display products I would like to develop a long term relationship with much business after this. I have three other projects on the backburner that need design as well. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. 4) 3 website templates(in .psd and .pdf format) for client review. These templates should be able to be revised several times to meet client expectations. 5) Integration of provided photography into site layout(includes cropping, editing, and resizing). Consultation on good photography websites would be a plus. 6)Integration of photoshop theme into content management system(to be specified after consult) 7)Custom flash Cd music player 8)Integration of third party shopping cart and merchandise store into CMS 9)Logo design(.psd, .fla, and .swf formats). A static version of logo and flash version(specification of flash will be detailed later) 10)Tweaking of chosen CMS to integrate custom scripts. Client needs an email list, calendar,member system, guestbook, blog, media section, and rating system(these are modules in Drupal 5.0, but made need tweaking) 11) Consultation to allow for easy use between client and CMS 12) SEO Optimization with target keywords and initial search engine submission 13)Help with choosing a domain name for the client 14)Ability to add on more features to the site later with an understanding of additional cost being incurred ## Platform Windows Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher Firefox 1.0 and higher Opera 8.0 and higher Flash 7.0 and higher Netscape 8.0 and higher Site should be XHTML valid and CSS validated through the W3C Display on all resolutions 800x600 and higher without breaking the site
