CD spinner

I need a utility that will stop a CD ROM drive from "spnning down". Problem: We have created a large presentation in Flash. We are distributing the presentation as an .EXE file on CD. After a while the CD stops spinning. When the user wants to look at certain pages there is a delay while the CD drive starts up again. We need a utility to keep the CD drive spinning to stop this delay. The utility must be an .EXE file. The utility must turn itself off automatically if the presentation has closed down. Further information: We have tried to create a utility ourselves. We got flash to read some external text files from the CD. When we read the first text file the CD drive spins up. However the operating system guesses what files will be accessed next. The Operating System seems to read the other text files into vritual memory. This, when we come to read the 2nd / 3rd etc files, the CD drive no longer spins up! Clearly the problem is more complicated than we first thought. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The utility must run on XP & Win2K machines.
