CD Presentation Project

The idea behind the project is we want to create CD's to distribute freely among potential prospects. All of the CD's will have trial software on them for our prospect's to try for themselves. Some of the CD's will have coupon's on them for discounts off our services. What we need is a talented individual who has experience creating professional CD applications. We want a graphical CD label created, and an application created for a CD so that when a prospect inserts the cd into a working cd-rom, the application automatically loads, first a splash screen comes up with our contact info., logo, and marketing message on it. After that, a graphical menu will be brought up (with our logo on it) that lets the prospect look at the programs on the cd and download which ones they wish to use. As it goes to load the programs, another splash screen comes up with our company information on it. We want the freedom to change which programs we include on the cd. We also want the application to display whether the cd contains a coupon with a discount off of our services or not. If it does have a coupon on it, the cd must give them a way to view the coupon details. We want to be able to change what coupon's we offer in the future. The cd application must have the same professional feel our logo contains. The same color-schemes must be used as well. The CD application will be a representation of our company to new prospects, so it must be professional. We are seeking a coder with artistic talent who can create a practical application and cd label that effectively promotes our company as much as possible. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). Final Requirements The winning coder must present us with project updates every 2 business days. We reserve the right to cancel the project at any time prior to its completion, and/or ask for revisions to its design and layout up to 14 days after the completion of the project. It is recommended that coders direct us to other graphical, splash, and/or flash projects they completed in the past to give us an idea of their abilities and talents. It is required that after we accept a bid, the winning coder first presents us with a written layout of how they are going to create and design the project for our approval. The coder must also be available by email or telephone for project communications. The coder must agree to fix all bugs found in the finished product, and must warrant that the finished product they supply us with can be copied onto standard blank cd's and successfully work as described above. ## Platform The program must work on all Windows Operating systems from Windows 98 and up. The program must also be configured to work with standard PC set-up in all 3.0+ versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape. Also, the program must work with all standard (working) cd-roms and not require any special software, plug-ins, etc. (that do not automatically come with Windows 98 and up) to operate.
