Goal of the assignment We want to sell custom Moviebank units to companies & private investors. Develop an ad that inspires the generation of new business across existing and future corporate accounts from retail, to real estate to private sector organizations. the comp you design should appeal to the demographic that reads the followin magazines Inc Smart money Wired Billboard Red herring Investors business journal Entrepreneurmag Robb report entertainment weekly the ad comp you design should speak to the savvy middle American investor who has a spare 30k sitting around that they want to spend on an investment the size of the ad should be a n ad that covers two open magazine pages horizontaly and an ad that takes up a single page both comps need to be designed in 2page and 1 pae formats ## Deliverables 1) .psd source files and illustrator files 300 dpi 2) all fonts and images used Due Date: Sunday the ad comp should be .psd or illustrtor files ata 300 dpi resolution The basic product: a dvd rental machine that allows the user can rent the following: 1) videogames 2) dvds 3) music cds 4) VHS tapes The ad needs a single minded poposition or slogan For example Nikes is just do it toyatas’ is oh what a feeling Mcdonald’s is smile Apples slogan is think simple. Theme The theme can be futuristic or modern- below are some treatments and suggestions that were discussed You can come up with your own themes if you wish and design them as your 2 comps. In the investor world the 4 quadrant system is the basis for how economists view the types of people in a society the BIG corporation and INVESTOR is on the right side of the quadrant making the profits because they create systems and th e worker and the small business owner manufacture for big business and buy services from big business. The investor benefits fro mit all because they start the cycle this quadrant theory can somehow be applied to highlight that if a user is an investor they know the dvd atam keeps them smart. The theory behind this is the investment opportunity(the atm & dvd machine) offers residual income once you plant it in an environment also there is the corn implication because whats better than eating popcorn while watching a movie therefore everything in the imagery makes sense when a person is flipping through a magazine.
