Clone Novell's NetDrive (FTP mapping to local drive)

NetDrive is a freeware produced in 2001 to allow MS Windows users to map their remote storage accounts, such as ftp and others, as local drives. I need a stripped down application similar to NetDrive with ftp protocol support only and without many auxiliary features. Also, the new program should not allow end-user, neither beginner nor advanced, to modify ftp server’s IP where drives mapped to. Notes: 1) It is preferred to have a single .exe file to be given to clients. In case this not possible, then installation program is a needed to install the program. 2) There should be properties windows for customers to enter their ftp's account username/password and proxy/port if any. Also, each field where these properties are entered should have two labels, one on the left of the field and one on the right. That is to write labels in two languages if needed. 3) Full source should be handed by the coder with complete instructions on how to recompile. 4) FTP server IP must be strongly protected inside the application. That is to prevent others from using our program with their servers. 5) I'll provide bidders with a freeware program which they can mimic. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
