Adware / BHO Project

Project must be coded 100% in Visual Basic or VC++ Using our BHO project (very basic example project we previously had coded) create an adware application for the purpose of contextual advertising pop-ups. The shell of the BHO is all there it just needs the advertising coded into it. Should make this project simple. The application must download a new keyword list (once per eight hour period) from a web URL and store the keyword list on the host computer. Upon detection of a keyword on the page, the application must pop-up a window with a fixed dimension of 600x300 to a specified URL ??" the application must pop no further windows for that page and for not pop for that keyword for the next 8 hours. The application must have the ability to download and execute applications from a web URL, checking for updates once per eight hour period. The application must come with an installer that downloads all required files (un-installer, BHO DLL, etc..)displays a MSGBOX message of "Application Installed" when the install is complete. The application must add itself to the Add/Remove programs control panel and have an un-installer to remove the BHO from Internet Explorer and clean up it's files. This is required by law to be added to the program to make our adware legal. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 95-XP, Internet Explorer 5+
