REPOSTED DUE TO WRONG FILE ATTACHMENT. I currently have an application that is part template and the rest my attempt at getting to work, it does do pretty much what was needed, but now that the database ? is getting bigger I have realised that my complete lack of normalisation is soon going to become a major issue for the user. ## Deliverables Access telephone call/task logging application I currently have an application that is part template and the rest my attempt at getting to work, it does do pretty much what was needed, but now that the database ? is getting bigger I have realised that my complete lack of normalisation is soon going to become a major issue for the user ? I would like someone to look at what I have got and then tell me the best way forward, if it is deemed that what I have is not saveable then the requirement will be to create a new access application that has the same features (but fully working) and tweaked to the MAX , fully normalised and with an additional holiday cover section added. ? If it can be worked with, tidied up and made “happy?? then this will also be an acceptable option, most important thing is the cost here as I created this as a favour for a friend and I personally got nothing for it This is a multi user application,? not secure password, just a drop down and choose your name type ? I full appreciate that my attempt which has been working well is raw, unsophisticated and not overly well designed, but it is one of those things that started as a basic tool, and instead of redesigning, was just added to as was needed. ? You will find an attachment with what is being used with data stripped. and you will get a feel of what I need. Eventually the tables will be linked so it can be used by several users at the same time. and as the data grows I feel the "MAIN" table is SO? badly in need of normalisation that it will cause the system to start to run slowly. Also When i'm happy with it I want to convert it to an ACCDE but this has stopped one of the functions working, If you go to the "main" form and select from the company Compass North it then copies over phone numbers, and cleaner names to the form, once saved as ACCDE it this stops working. As for the holiday thing I need (for example) to be able to pick a company,? show the cleaner (as the bit that was not working properly did) then be able to put in dates that that cleaner will be away, and then pick from the same contacts table a cleaner to cover those dates this info? can be stored in a new table. I also would like to be able to display this info on a calender screen if possible, but not overly important if not practical ***Sorry to everyone that placed a bid before but i'd posted the wrong database file so you were bidding on missinformation that would have not been fair to any of you.***
