booking software for hotel

Hi All, I am looking to develop an internal Room Booking system (accessible by our staff from any location) to allow the staff to book rooms and view which room is available when, who's booked it and whether or not the room has been paid. i want that our staff will log into a secure admin portal, and immediately see a calendar view, with a list of rooms underneath each day. The rooms are coded to indicate with some special icons / coulours / signs if they are available or booked. additionally the person can know easily the duration of booking room also. For rooms that are ‘vacant', hotel staff can complete a new booking for that room on that date which captures the above information. The booking system will also allow the ability to add/remove rooms from the system. what extra functions you can add to make the program more useful please add your suggestions in PMB.
