Website offering travelers the chance to book a range of different activities within New Zealand, Australia and South Pacific. The front end business model will be very similar to Hostelworld ([login to view URL]) where customers pay a percentage deposit to book a bed but only difference is instead beds being sold, it is activities and experiences (such as white-water rafting etc). This means the front end of the website will have the same functionality. Please review these websites to ensure you can provide the same level of professionalism, design and user experience. The key features are: • Customers create an online account, accessible via username and password • Customers will book the activity for a specific time and day with a % deposit • The activities booked will be listed in the backend of the customer’s account • Customers can leave feedback for each activity they undertake across a number of different variables (value for money, adventure rating etc) • Automated booking e-mail will be sent to the activity supplier to advise of booking. Activity Supplier will need to confirm booking via clicking “accept” in e-mail which sends off confirmation to customer (or a similar process) and updated backend database as "confirmed" • Each activity will have video / photos / description – online account accessible via username and password for activity suppliers • Commission levels for each activity will need to be set which determines the % deposit captured in the front end • Activities can be searched against: country / region / activity type / Top rated • Each city / region /country will have generic travel information providing an information resource Furthermore, database will feed content for other niche websites in the future. This means each activity listed in the database has the option of being displayed on other websites so a tick option or similar to decide where each activity is displayed is essential.
