Build a Wordpress Website for a Land Speed Record Attempt Project

52 Express is a British project to build and run a motorcycle streamliner capable of establishing a new outright world record speed of over 400mph. The current record of 376mph is held by an American team.
The project has primarily been self funded to date but in an effort to raise its profile and secure meaningful investment an overhaul of all communication tools is underway. The existing website - [login to view URL] demonstrates the scope for improvement. We are currently creating a new look and feel for the machine which will also be used on platforms such as the website, Facebook etc. The requirement is to create a Wordpress based site using the existing site content and providing a platform for us to easily keep it updated. It is not a blog, it is a website and as such a suitable template should be adopted.
Functionally it must include a Paypal fixture for donation making, a twitter feed linked to the twitter account etc. Mostly the pages will be static but the home page needs to be live to include the twitter feed and news updates.
There isn't a defined budget but any applicants should be mindful that the project has been supported by volunteers from CAD/CFD development, to engineers, designers and companies who have kindly donated products and services and the income generated goes towards the completion of the machine.
It is envisaged that the site would be migrated to our existing web host although this could be discussed.
it is essential that any bidder is able to demonstrate credible, and relevant Wordpress sites and provide references. The work is required soon but will not commence until September.
