Seeking experienced Wordpress web developer/programmer for ongoing, frequent freelance assignments including:
- websites (including mobile, ecommerce, intranet, blogs)
- social media sites (facebook, twitter, etc.)
- email (primarily Constant Contact and iContact)
- online ads
- animation/video integration
- SEO projects
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to program custom themes.
- Strong portfolio of current work that meets the highest quality, functionality, SEO, security, and aesthetic standards (min of 4-5 years' experience)
- Expert in Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks), WordPress, and iPad/iPhone-friendly Flash alternatives
- Solid working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ASP, PHP, MySQL
- Understands and develops sites to be WCAG 2.0 compliant
- Ability to write code according to industry best practices and conventions (clean, organized code)
- Reliable, meets deadlines and delivers work as promised and on budget
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Proactive problem-solver who is able to overcome challenges with innovative, creative ideas
- Easy to communicate with, reachable via phone and email primarily; sometimes available for in-person meetings
- Flexible and able to accommodate quick turnaround needs and tight deadlines from time to time
Must be based in the USA; we are in California and prefer working with west-coast (Californian, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Nevada) freelancers in our same time zone.
