Software to be created would send out emails to a list of people, presumably from an address book such as one in OutLook. These emails would provide a form by which the recipient can send back their updated contact information. The information would be received by the software and would be automatically entered into the intended address book. The project can be divided in 3 sections. The mailer: This sends email to people from an address book (Outlook, OutlookExpress, Act, text file) the form that allows for them to send their information back. This software would be written in Visual Basic, C++ or another language. An email form would be designed that is easy to use and self-explanatory to the reciepient. A modest space for an advertisement should be included in the email. Email should be sent HTMl with a text version for none HTML browsers. The processor: Takes information from the emails and inserts it into the address book. Various options are to be supported (Outlook, OutlookExpress, Act, text file). Installer: The installer puts the software on the client's PC easily. (SUPER Easily!!) Basically a clone of: [login to view URL] If you have questions, just ask. Good luck. UPDATE: This project was started by a coder. He got it to the point where address book info can be added and subtracted to the various address books from the software. He was a very good coder, but fell off the face of the planet for a few weeks, so I paid him for code he had done and here we are. I would like to have the original coder involved in this as much as possible - assuming he is answering his email! :) Attached is ALL the info I have. Thanks for your bids!
