Development of mobile apps for fieldwork

We are an R&D company that is working on image processing algorithms applied to the evaluation of forests and fields, based on drone photographs.

This line of work leads us to require mobile apps for several tasks during our survey, the first of which would be a tool used during fieldwork to aid in the actual counting of trees.

The first version of the app should be able to save and store points and polygons chosen by the user while travelling through the forest, then save as KML files with latitude and longitude. These shapes are then used for validating the actual automatic recognition.

The app can then increase its complexity, is able to edit or delete points of shapes, display a set of chosen shapes, etc, etc.
