Build a database of programmers

We would like to use [login to view URL] to hire some freelance Ruby developers. However, the site is virtually impossible to navigate. What I would like to do is place all of the data (21,000 developers) into a database by: - Name - Link to profile - Country - Available for hire (yes or no) - Number of people who recommend this person - Number of people this person recommends - Authority - Popularity - Forum posting rating I would like this database updated daily. Following that, I would like an interface where I can filter developers by any of the above criteria. You can find a list of people at: [login to view URL] I imagine one would have to build a crawler to start at "A" and work your way through, but you may be able to think of something more clever. This project can be done in MySQL with PHP or whatever you choose. I'll give you an FTP site and a URL where the interface can be (the interface doesn't have to be especially fancy).
