The goal for this project is to create a website/app which enables the owner of retail stores to track their daily cash deposits.
The idea is as follows:
At the end of the day the retail employee closes out their cash register and prepares a bank deposit.
They will log on to the website, where they will enter the deposit number and amount.
Then they will place the deposit inside the safe.
When the store manager is present they will retrieve the money from safe, and deposit it in the bank.
Once they have made that deposit, they will log on to the website and enter the deposit number, they
will then be able to move the deposit from a "pending" stage to "completed".
The store owner would be able to login as an admin to view which deposits are pending or have been completed.
This allows the owner to know how much money that have inside the store safe at any given time, that is waiting to be deposited in the bank.
Further Information:
I am a small business owner, I do not have any knowledge of coding, programming, or languages.
We do have server space where the needed files can be hosted.
I can provide you with an ftp login for the server so you can setup the needed files to make the site functional.
